WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday – 03/03/2021

Hey friends. I’m back with another WWW Wednesday post, where I share with you what I’m reading! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer these three questions:

1) What are you currently reading?

2) What did you recently finish reading?

3) What do you think you’ll read next?

1) What are you currently reading?

My current physical read is The Last Bear by Hannah Gold. I’m not very far through yet, but it is a really interesting book so far, and I’m really enjoying it. It is talking about climate change, which I really appreciate, and it’s really good to see that discussed in a book aimed at younger readers.

I am sort of currently listening to 2 audiobooks, and this is because the audiobook I was listening to through Scribd, Dangerous Remedy by Kat Dunn, started giving me an error message and I haven’t yet gone back to it to see if it is working again. I was enjoying it, but not loving it, as it isn’t really a genre I love.

My other audiobook is Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Once again, I am enjoying it, but I don’t think it will be a favourite. I am glad I picked up the audiobook, because it is narrated by a full cast. I’ve never listened to an audiobook narrated by a full cast before, so I’m really enjoying that experience.

2) What did you recently finish reading?

After the last WWW Wednesday I posted (2 weeks ago now, oops) I finished my buddy read of Hero at the Fall by Alwyn Hamilton with Beth. I really enjoyed it, and I’m so glad I put in the time to reread the series and actually finish it out this time. It was so good, and I’m so happy to now know the conclusion to the series.

The most recent book I finished was A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J Maas. It was SOO GOOD. I’m so happy I read it, but I’m also really sad that its over. It was 750 pages, and honestly I would have been happy if it was longer. I really can’t wait for the next book in the series, and I really hope it comes soon, although I think we will be getting the next Crescent City book first, which I am also really excited for.

3) What do you think you’ll read next?

My next read is going to be my reread of Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare. I had hoped to have already started it by now, but it took me longer to finish ACOSF than I thought. I am planning to reread this before I dive into Chain of Iron, which I am EXTREMELY EXCITED to finally have my hands on and read. I will be vlogging my reading experience, so hopefully that will be up soon.
