WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday – 06/01/2021

Hey friends. I’m back with another WWW Wednesday post, where I share with you what I’m reading! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer these three questions:

1) What are you currently reading?

2) What did you recently finish reading?

3) What do you think you’ll read next?

1) What are you currently reading?

The ShadowglassI am currently only reading one book, which is very unlike me as I usually have a physical book and an audiobook on the go. (I just finished an audiobook today, but more on that in the next question)

My current read is The Shadowglass by Rin Chupeco. I started this series last year, and I am so excited to finally be finishing it! I have been enjoying it so much, and I really can’t wait to see where this last book goes. I’m only about a chapter in at the moment, but I am definitely excited to keep reading.

2) What did you recently finish reading?

Again AgainThe last physical book I finished was The Heart Forger by Rin Chupeco. I actually started this one back in November, and I got half way through before I put it down in December to read Christmas books. This didn’t hinder my enjoyment of it AT ALL. I was able to get right back into it when I picked it back up, and I enjoyed it so much.

The last audiobook I finished (today) was Again Again by E. Lockhart. This was a very interesting and weird book. I really enjoyed it, but I also found it confusing, so I’m not really sure how I feel about it overall. This book was a LOT darker than I was expecting (because I didn’t read the synopsis) and I want to give trigger warnings for addiction, depression and anxiety.

3) What do you think you’ll read next?

These Violent Delights (These Violent Delights, #1)I’m not really sure what book I plan to physically read next. I’ve read 2 fantasy’s back to back, so I might pick up Three Hours by Rosamund Lupton. I am also planning on joining in the FairyLoot readalong for These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong, which starts on the 11th, so my next read will be one of those, depending on when I finish my current read.

My next audiobook is going to be The Last Paper Crane by Kerry Drewery. I have this one on hold on my library’s audiobook app and it becomes available to me tomorrow, so it makes sense for it to be my next audiobook. I have read Kerry’s Cell 7 trilogy and really loved it, so I’m excited to check out this book by her too. I will hopefully be reviewing this one because I did get an ARC of it from NetGalley. (I am WAY behind on my NetGalley books)

What are your answers to these questions? Have you read any of the books I mentioned? Lets discuss in the comments!
