WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday – 12/08/2020

Hey guys. I’m back with another WWW Wednesday post, where I share with you what I’m reading! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer these three questions: 1) What are you currently reading? 2) What did you recently finish reading? 3) What do you think you’ll read next?

1) What are you currently reading?

My current read is Boy Queen by George Lester. I am only about 70 pages in so far, but I am really enjoying it. I have never read a book about a drag queen before, so I’m really excited to see what’s in store for me. I will be reviewing this book, so keep an eye out if you want to see my thoughts!

My current audiobook is Assassin’s Quest by Robin Hobb. This is for the Catch Up Book Club, and I am enjoying the series. I’ve had the same experience with each book in the trilogy so far, in that the first half has me questioning why I’m bothering to continue, and then the second half has me on the edge of my seat. I’m really looking forward to moving on to the Liveship Traders series and seeing if that is more to my taste.

I am also slowly making my way through Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer. I’m about 250 pages in, and I’m mostly just picking it up when I have a spare moment. I definitely think that if I hadn’t read and loved Twilight as a teen, I would have DNF’d this book in chapter one, but the nostalgia has me kinda hooked.

2) What did you recently finish reading?

The last book I finished reading was Loveless by Alice Oseman. I buddy read this book with Beth and Blue and we all loved it. I posted a review for this book, which you can find here.

The last audiobook I finished was The Golden Tower by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare. This is the 5th book in the Magisterium series, and I listened to all the audiobooks to finally complete the series, which I started years ago. I am glad to finally have the series off my TBR.

3) What do you think you’ll read next?

The next book I am planning to read is Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko . I am so excited to read this book. It sounds so good. I’m also on the blog tour for this book, and I am down for a review, so I definitely need to read it ASAP. My stop is on 19th August, so come back then to see my thoughts!

I’m not sure what my next audiobook is going to be. I think it will be a while before I have to think about it, as the Assassin’s Quest audiobook is 37 hours long. I might listen to Solitaire by Alice Oseman soon though.

So that’s it for me. What are your answers to these questions? Let me know what you have been reading lately!
