Hey guys. I’m back with another WWW Wednesday post, where I share with you what I’m reading! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer these three questions: 1) What are you currently reading? 2) What did you recently finish reading? 3) What do you think you’ll read next?
1) What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading 3 books, two physical books and one audiobook.
The main physical book I am reading is Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J Maas. I have been buddy reading this series with Beth, and I’m so excited and also sad to be at the end of the series. I can’t wait to find out what happens, but I’m also scared to find out what happens, and I don’t want this series to end. I’ve been having such a good time reading it, so I’ll be sad when it’s over. Not going to lie though, I am looking forward to reading other books!
My second current read is The Rules by Tracy Darnton. I’m not really actively reading this one, mostly just a couple of pages on my lunch breaks. I’m not really feeling it so far, which I think is contributing to my slow reading pace of it.
My current audiobook is Royal Assassin by Robin Hobb. I am reading this as part of Becca’s Catch Up Book Club and I have fallen a little bit behind. I finally decided to try the audiobooks to catch up and I am really enjoying it. The narrator is really good, so I highly recommend the audiobook, and I am also really enjoying the plot. I found the first half really slow, but the second half has picked up SO MUCH and I am so tense. I have about 50 pages left and I am hoping to finish it tomorrow.
2) What did you recently finish reading?
The last book I finished reading was Tower of Dawn by Sarah J Maas. I ended up really enjoying this book. In fact, I would go so far as to say that it is my favourite book in the series so far. I just really loved the characters and the culture of the city this book is set in.
I also recently finished reading They Do It With Mirrors by Agatha Christie. I started reading the Marple books last year but I stopped at I think 5 books, and I don’t know why because I was absolutely loving them. I’m hoping to carry on with them this year, so I’m really happy I read this one. This is also one of the 12 books my boyfriend picked for me to read this year, so I will have a few more of my thoughts for this book on that page.
3) What do you think you’ll read next?
I need to pick up Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron soon for a blog tour, so that will be the next new book I pick up. I will be doing a review post for the blog tour, so keep an eye out for that.
Other than that, I don’t know exactly what my next physical read will be after I finish Kingdom of Ash. I kind of don’t want to plan it, and let myself just pick up what I’m in the mood for. However, I am planning on participating in the UKYA Readathon, hosted by Nikki, so I will probably read one of my books for that next.
I do know my next audiobook, though, and that will be The Iron Trial by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare. This will be a reread for me. I decided to reread it via audiobook and then finally carry on with the series, also by audiobook. They are all available digitally through my library, which makes me really happy.
So that’s it for this week’s WWW Wednesday. Click here to see last week’s post, and don’t forget to leave me a comment telling me what you have been reading lately, and what you have really enjoyed lately!
