WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday – 01/04/2020

Hey guys. Welcome to another WWW Wednesday post. WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer these three questions: 1) What are you currently reading? 2) What did you recently finish reading? 3) What do you think you’ll read next?

1) What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb. I am reading this because of Becca’s Elderlingalong, which I have been looking forward to participating in for a few months now. I am nearly finished with this book. I am hoping to finish it today so that I can get started on my OWLs books. I’m really enjoying this book so far. It was a bit slow to start with, but it really picked up and sucked me in, and I’m looking forward to continuing on with the series.

My current audiobook is P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han. This is a reread for me. I first read it years ago. I never ended up reading the third book in the series, so I’ve been rereading the first two books via audio so that I can finally read the third book. I’m really excited to get to it.

2) What did you recently finish reading?

I think it’s been two weeks since my last WWW Wednesday post, so I have a few books to tell you about. I have actually only completed audiobooks in the last two weeks, mainly because my physical read has been Assassins Apprentice.

The first book I finished since my last post is Forever Geek by Holly Smale. I finally finished the series! I have been really enjoying listening to this series on audio. The narrator has become one of my favourite audiobook narrators ever, and these books were just so much fun to listen to.

The next book I finished I actually listened to in one day while I was doing a puzzle and that book is The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary. I just randomly picked this because it had an audiobook and I needed an audiobook to listen to, and I ended up loving it so much. It was a 5 star read, and I’m now really excited to read her new book when it comes out.

After finishing The Flatshare, I picked up the audiobook of The Authenticity Project by Clare Pooley. I had been reading this physically, but at the time I just wasn’t in the mood to read, so I decided the audiobook was the way to go. I ended up enjoying it much more after I switched to the audiobook, so I’m really glad I made that decision.

The most recent book I finished was the audiobook for To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han. This was a reread and I loved it just as much as I did the first time round. I’m so happy I decided to revisit this series.

3) What do you think you’ll read next?

I don’t know exactly what book I’ll read next just yet. I’m thinking I might start Rebel With A Cupcake by Anna Mainwaring. I’m reading this for the OWLs, for the prompt Astronomy: Read majority of this book when it is dark outside, so I might start it tomorrow evening. Other than that, I probably won’t decide what my next read will be until I finish my current read.
