Hey guys. Welcome to another WWW Wednesday post. WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer these three questions: 1) What are you currently reading? 2) What did you recently finish reading? 3) What do you think you’ll read next?
1) What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading a few books. This week Beth, Faye and I are buddy reading Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano. I’m a little bit behind our schedule, but I’m really intrigued so far.
I’m also currently reading Frostheart by Jamie Littler. This is my first book for the Polarthon, hosted by Jadeyraereads. It is also one of the 12 books my boyfriend picked for me to read this year. I’m about 100 pages in and I’m really enjoying it. I also really like the illustrations.
My current audiobook is The Elite by Kiera Cass. I listened to the first book in the series because I had it on NetGalley, and I decided to just carry on with the series. I’m not absolutely loving it or anything, but they are fun listens.
I’m also slowly making my way through an e-ARC of Grief Angels by David Owen. I’m mostly just reading it when my only option is to read on my phone, so its very slow going.
2) What did you recently finish reading?
I’ve only finished 2 books since last weeks post, but I had no DNFs, which is good.
The first book I finished was my buddy read of The Queen’s Assassin by Melissa De La Cruz with Beth. I ended up enjoying it, but not as much as I thought I would. If you want to see my full thoughts, you can read my review here.
I also finished listening to The Selection by Kiera Cass. It wasn’t anything special, just a fun read, and the audiobook was quick and enjoyable.
3) What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m hoping to read at least one other book for the Polarthon, which is The Girl Who Speaks Bear by Sophie Anderson. I’ve heard really good things about Sophie’s books, so I’m really excited to see what I think of it.
I also have another buddy read with Beth and Faye planned for next week. We are planning to read Yes No Maybe So by Becky Albertalli and Aisha Saeed. I’m so excited to read this book, and to meet Becky and Aisha later this month.
