Wrap Up

Weekly Wrap Up: 06/01/20 – 12/01/20

Hey guys. Today I am sharing my second weekly wrap up. I didn’t have as good a reading week as last week, and I probably bought too many books, but I’m really happy with everything I read and bought. Enjoy!

Books read

This week I finished reading Mistletoe and Murder by Robin Stevens. I really love this series, and I’m so happy I finally continued on with the series. I love these books so much, they are so engaging and captivating. This book was so christmasy and wintery and atmospheric. I got so lost in the story. I highly recommend these books if you like mysteries.

I am currently reading Eight Will Fall by Sarah Harian. It was the book in the December FairyLoot. I’d never heard of it before it came in the FairyLoot, so I’m really excited to read it. I love reading books I’ve never heard of, and discovering new favourites.

I also started buddy reading White Lies and Wishes by Cathy Bramley with Faye, but we only made it 7 pages in before we both DNF’d it. There was just too much fat phobia for us to continue.

Books hauled

I actually bought some books this week. I got 2 from Waterstones, and I bought one off Parabatai Reviews on Instagram.

The two books I got from Waterstones are Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb and Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. I’ve been dying to read something by Robin Hobb for ages, and I think a book club is reading her books throughout the year, so I thought I would join in. I got Good Omens because I really enjoyed the Amazon show and I’ve been dying to read the book ever since.

The book I bought off Instagram was Even the Darkest Stars by Heather Fawcett. I’ve been wanting to read this book ever since it came out, and Parabatai Reviews were selling books to raise money for the Australian bushfires, so it seemed like the perfect time to buy it.

Blog posts

I’ve been trying to get back into my blogging so fat this year, and I think I’m doing pretty well. I posted 3 times this week.

On Monday I shared my 4 star review of The Good Luck Girls by Charlotte Nicole Davis. I also shared my top 10 most anticipated releases of 2020, and I shared a list of my unfinished series, ones I have started reading and really need to finish.

Go check them out, and leave a like and a comment!
