Weekly Wrap Up: 30/12/2019 – 05/01/2020
Hey guys. Today I am starting a series of Weekly Wrap Up posts, where I share with you what I read and hauled during the week, and also what I posted on my blog and bookstagram. I got the idea from my lovely friend Faye at A Daydreamer’s Thoughts, go check out her blog!
Books read
The first book I finished this week was a buddy read with Faye (linked above). We spent the month of December buddy reading Christmas romances and we finished our last one this week. We read A Gift to Remember by Melissa Hill. It was my favourite of the books we buddy read, as it contained a mystery which made it much more interesting for me.
The next book I finished was one I actually started before Christmas and had to put down to read other books. I finally had the time to finish it, and I really enjoyed it. It was The Christmasaurus by Tom Fletcher. It was such a fun Christmas read and the illustrations were so nice. If you have kids who like to read, or if you like reading middle grade books, I recommend this one.
I am currently in the middle of Mistletoe and Murder by Robin Stevens. I really love the series, so I’m super happy to finally be back solving mysteries with Daisy and Hazel.
Books hauled
I actually didn’t buy any books this week. I’m really pleased with myself, as I want to reduce the amount of books I buy this year, but this definitely won’t last.
Blog posts
One of my resolutions for this year is to get back into blogging, so I’ve been quite active this week. Here are all my posts from the week.
I made a post all about my bookish goals for 2020. I also shared the books I plan to read this month. And lastly, I talked about my favourite books of last year.
Go check them out, leave a comment and a like. Lets chat about books!
Bookstagram posts
This week I posted twice on my bookstagram, libraryofbooksandtea.
Feel free to leave a comment below, tell me what you’ve read, leave links to any blog posts you’ve shared this week.
