WWW Wednesday – 17/10/18
Hey guys. Welcome to another WWW Wednesday post. WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer these three questions: 1) What are you currently reading? 2) What did you recently finish reading? 3) What do you think you’ll read next?
1) What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading Undead Girl Gang by Lily Anderson for the Spookathon. I’m only on page 22 so I don’t really have any comments yet, but from what I’ve read so far and what I’ve heard from other people, I think it will be a very fun read.
I am also currently reading The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien as part of a readalong. I still have to read the chapters for this week, which I plan to do after Undead Girl Gang.
My current audiobook is A Stranger in the House by Shari Lapena. I’m about two and a half hours into it so far and I’m really enjoying it.
2) What did you recently finish reading?
The last book I finished reading was Coraline by Neil Gaiman. This was the first Neil Gaiman book I’ve ever read and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely be checking out more of his works now.
3) What do you think you’ll read next?
Next I plan to read The Treatment by C.L. Taylor, also for the Spookathon. I’ve really been getting into thrillers lately, and I’m really looking forward to reading this one.
I don’t know what my next audiobook will be yet.

I never saw this at YALC 😩 I would’ve bought it then if I’d known 😂

It was on a table that was giving out free ARCS if you bought a book. It was one of the ARCS, but I think they ran out pretty quickly…

I feel like I should be reading some spooky books right now, but haven’t got any lined up! I love Neil Gaiman, such a unique voice!

I’ve read a lot of Gaiman, though regrettably not Coraline yet. I’m happy to see your first experience with his work was so positive!

I am so glad you enjoyed “Coraline!” I actually have never read Neil Gaiman and am a little embarrassed by that. I will have to rectify that soon I think. Here is my WWW post if interested: https://greatmorrisonmigration.wordpress.com/2018/10/17/www-wednesdays-october-17-2018/

I am yet to read Coraline (on my shelf though!), but I loved Neverwhere an awful lot!

I’ll definitely have to check that one out! At the moment I’m thinking of picking up Stardust next…
