Hey guys! This is my December book haul with things of interest I got for Christmas thrown in 🙂 So first I’ll do books I bought, then I’ll do the books I got for Christmas 🙂
Hey guys 🙂 First of all, I hope you all had a great christmas and got lots of cool stuff and had lots of good food and just generally had fun. Secondly, I’m sorry that I haven’t posted much lately, I’ve just not read anything that I’ve felt like reviewing, and I’ve been doing all of my readathon updates on my tumblr account. However, I decided I would do a (roughly) halfway update here so you guys could hear about what’s been happening through the readathon, and hear my progress.
So for the readathon there are 3 challenges. They are Read a total of 2,000 pages, Reread a favorite of 2014, and Set Your Own Challenge, for which I set myself the challenge of reading a book within 24 hours. Not in a day because I tend to start a new book in the evening.
So far I have read 948/2000. I had hoped to be over 1000 by now, but I got a cold just before christmas and didn’t really feel like reading at all. So that put me behind a bit… Oh well, I’m sure I’ll catch up soon. I’ve finished 2 books so far, This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales and Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, and I’m roughly halfway through the Bane Chronicles, although I’ve put that down for a bit. I’m planning on coming back to it later, but for now I’m reading The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater. I’ve only just started so I’m only about 12 pages in but I’m looking forward to finishing it 🙂
I’ve completed 2 of the 3 challenges, Fangirl for Reread a favorite of 2014 and This Song Will Save Your Life for Set Your Own Challenge.
So yes, that is my Progress with the readathon. If any of you are doing the readathon, leave a comment to let me know how you are doing 🙂

It’s been four years since twenty-year-old Jessica Hayes has been home, but when she discovers her father is dying, she must return to her hometown in South Carolina and face her past. Jessica thought patching up her relationship with her father would be her biggest challenge, but when she runs into Ryan Dawson—the catalyst of all her problems—she wonders if coming home was a mistake.
Ryan knows he screwed up. Hell, he paid the price…with interest. But when he runs into his best friend’s little sister, Jessica, he’s reminded that his debt will never truly be paid. He may have turned his life around, but he can’t undo the damage. So, he does what he should have done all those years ago. He stays away from Jessica, and all the other personal demons that still haunt him.
Jessica thought she wanted nothing to with Ryan, but something is different about him and she needs to know why. When she discovers the truth behind his change, she puts her troubles aside and tries to help him. But is putting her heart back in the line of fire worth disrupting her stable life back in Ohio, or will the past repeat itself, leaving her brokenhearted once again?
Hey guys! Its time for another Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, so if you want more information about it go check them out. This week the theme is Top Ten New-To-Me Authors I Read In 2014. Lets get started!
Hey guys! So I’m participating in the End of 2014 Read-A-Thon in December. It actually doesn’t start for over two weeks yet, but I thought I would say something about it now so that you have time to sign up if you want to. There is a group for the Read-A-Thon on Goodreads, which I will link here, and it has information about the Read-A-Thon, and you can find more information about the Read-A-Thon here, but it goes for 12 days and there are daily challenges to do through out the Read-A-Thon, and I think there might be giveaways but I’m not sure.
Okay, so I thought I would share my TBR for the Read-A-Thon with you guys 🙂 Here it is:
- The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare
- Holes by Louis Sachar
- The Iron Trial by Cassandra Clare and Holly Black
- Half Bad by Sally Green
- This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales
- Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell (For the ‘re-read a favourite of 2014’ challenge)
- Plus any books I get for Christmas that I feel like reading
This is just a vague idea at the moment… If I decide I want to read something else instead then I might pick that up. Who knows.
Most of my updates will be posted to my tumblr, but I’m thinking of doing a post about it here at the end, to let you guys know how it went.
So yeah. If you’re interested, go check it out, and if you decide to join it, maybe we could chat about it… Yeah…
Hi guys! So I’m doing my second Top Ten Tuesday today, even though the first one I did was 4 weeks ago… I got slightly distracted… Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, so if you want more information about it go check them out. This week the theme is Top Ten Books I’m Looking Forward To In 2015! I have a feeling this might be a hard one to cut down to just 10, but I’ll give it a go 🙂
Hey guys! I decided I want to start doing monthly wrap ups so here is my November one. Enjoy.
So in November I read 6 (!) books. I should probably cut back and start doing my coursework… Maybe…
